"That wasn't the best Sunday for us, not by a long shot. First off, we didn't have the pace, and then we were managing things as well during the race, just a little bit of temperature stuff, so we weren't able to push and attack. It just put us out of contention for the battle for points with both cars, so it was a tough one. We definitely had higher hopes after Friday in the dry had been quite promising.

"Pushing at 100 per cent we could just hang on to the top 10, but once we started to manage temperatures and things like this, it put us out of the fight. I would have loved to have had a better race but we simply just weren't quick enough.

"We've got to have a look, see where we can go better, and then just clean a few things up. We've got a week off before the next one, and it's a home race for the team at Silverstone – so we're hoping we can be better there."
